Your source image stays with you.
Last updated: September 8, 2026. CraftGrid processes source images in your browser. Cloud storage is optional and stores only the project data and generated preview you explicitly save.
Local image processing
Images are decoded, cropped, converted, edited, and exported on your device. CraftGrid does not upload or retain the source image or original file name. A tool may store its most recent source image, crop, settings, and edited grid in this browser using IndexedDB; clearing the project or browser site data removes that local copy.
Accounts and private cloud projects
If you sign in with Google, CraftGrid receives basic profile information needed to create your account, including your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. When you explicitly save to the cloud, CraftGrid stores the generated project snapshot and preview, not the source image. Private records are restricted to the signed-in account.
Public Gallery
Publishing is optional. A published item displays the generated preview, project title, tool type, public nickname, and publication time. Your email address is never part of the public Gallery response. Unpublishing removes the listing immediately and queues the public object for deletion.
Service providers and usage data
CraftGrid uses Vercel for hosting and analytics, Neon for account and project records, Cloudflare R2 for saved objects, Google for sign-in, and Google Analytics for aggregate product usage. Analytics events do not include image content, file names, project contents, free-form input, or account email addresses. Stripe and Resend integrations remain disabled unless paid features or transactional email are explicitly launched.
Account deletion and retention
Deleting your account revokes its sessions, removes account, private project, and Gallery records, and queues stored project and public objects for deletion. Object deletion normally completes within 24 hours through a retrying cleanup job. If financial records ever exist, their account link is anonymized and the ledger may be retained for up to ten years for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.
Your choices
You can use the conversion tools without an account, clear browser data locally, unpublish a Gallery item, delete individual cloud projects, or delete the account from Settings. Material changes to this policy will be published here before the affected feature is released.
